First time tandem breastfeeding the twins since having mastitis—what a relief and a milestone!
The past few days have been incredibly challenging. Mastitis drained my energy, left me in pain, and made feeding feel impossible.
I had to rely on pumping, bottle feeding, and lots of rest to get through the worst of it. Every latch before today felt like fire, making me dread feeding time.
But today, I finally managed to nurse both babies at the same time again. It wasn’t easy, but it felt like a small victory.
Seeing them both latched, calm and content, reminded me why I push through the hard moments. My body is healing, and we’re finding our rhythm again.
Breastfeeding twins is a journey full of ups and downs, but moments like this make it all worthwhile.
Grateful for strength, perseverance, and these precious babies. One feed at a time! ❤️🙏
